‘Unexpected Pleasures’ Exhibition Design Museum Overtime

unexpectedpleasures

On the last day of the exhibition visitors had an opportunity to learn about the work of contemporary jewellers from the Dialogue Collective in a series of show-and-tell talks, or play jewellery ‘Guess Who’ by trying to match up jewellery with the face that made it. The audience was offered to select simulations of the Collective’s jewellery to cut out and wear or paper engineer a body extension with which to adorn themselves. Once adorned visitors were immortalised by the Dialogue Collective’s professional photographer to be included in a slide show of unexpectedly pleasurable people at the end of the evening.
